Hey y'all! We had some requests to keep the website updated a little better, and it was in need of some help anyway, so we got back from the New York tour in June and set about making a new website, so here it is, polished and ready to go. We plan to keep it updated regularly, so keep checking in!
Wow! What a weekend! We played 5 shows between Thursday and Sunday around the area, saw Daily & Vincent, and had a minor bus breakdown. The Lake Cumberland festival was lots of fun, and Moochie Hart is the nicest lady! Rebekah got a Martin HD-28, so we're now an official bluegrass band. :)
We finally got the bus fixed again yesterday, with a lot of help from Ron and Kerry at Matney's diesel! Noticing a pattern here? We're working for the bus...
In case you don't know, we released our third CD in June and it is now available at any of our concerts or through the website. It is entitled Shine. John Rossbach helped out with the production, Harold Burrell mixed it, and we're proud of it. See the store page for details.
The New York tour went really well! Eighteen shows in 16 days! Needless to say, we were glad to have a break when we got home! It was great to see so many familiar faces, and Mr. & Mrs. Crowell! Thanks to all the people who helped out organizing and planning. We hope to come back next year to get some more pizza & wings, and we have some shows in Canada about the same time so that should work out well.
